US Youth Soccer Media Coverage of KKC at Region 1 Tournament
On June 1, the soccer team my dad coached and that I have played on since U-9, the Hockessin Cyclones, won their first Delaware State Cup title in an amazing game in overtime & penalty kicks vs the Delaware Saengerbunds. This victory gave our team a trip to Portland, Maine in late June for regional competition. For our first time there, we learned a lot and more than anything, we were proud of our experience. After our last game, some people from US Youth Soccer came up to our team to interview us about my dad and Kids Kickin' Cancer. Click on the link below to see the great piece that US Youth Soccer did on us. Thanks Coach Christof for remembering my dad and dedicating our State Cup win to him!

Incorporation of Kids Kickin' Cancer - March 2008
In the first quarter of 2008, we where hard at work to get the State of Delaware to officially incorporate our foundation. As of March 25, 2008, Kids Kickin' Cancer is a 501(3)(c) organization. Therefore, all contributions in 2007 and future are tax deductible with follow up letters for your tax filing purposes being made available.
Tree Dedication at Hockessin Soccer Club - November 2007
Our dad was a selfless volunteer at Hockessin Soccer Club for 11 years. He started out by coaching Brandon at the 'Mini-Mite' level, then took on the position of Head Coach of the '92-'93 Cyclones Representative Team since 2000. In addition, he was the Delco Representative for the Club for 4 years.
During his time with HSC, our dad was lucky enough to be surrounded by some awesome families that made up his teams. These individuals provided us a lot of support during our dad's illness. In tribute to him, they planted a tree in his memory in Fall, 2007 near the turf field.
Thank you, HSC & the Cyclones for everything! You meant a lot to him! We know he will always be sitting on the bench coaching you from his new 'sideline'.
